I cannot play on the winter map, it is severely straining my eyes. I know this is happening with quite a few people and no one has given us a reasonable solution. I understand that there are plenty of people who love this map, and it is a nice map, but the colors are too much for my eyes to bare. I have tried adjusting the color, brightness, contrast, everything possible including the in game options but it is not helping even a little bit. Please, for those of us who cannot handle this map, something needs to be done so that we are not limited in our play.

One suggestion is changing the warmth of your monitor, this will have a much greater effective in combination with brightness. This is usually a feature built into your monitor when accessing the Menu, be sure to look for the thermometer as this indicates where to change this feature.

I think the winter map for Summoner's Rift is pretty cool. I think you can toggle the monitor brightness so it won't be so "blinding" I don't have problems with the map though

It is not my monitor, I've used two different computers other than my own, and I have changed and altered every single setting possible, its the map interacting with my eyes. I can see how people who don't have this problem view it as some abnormality, but its just a difference in eye sensitivity. It legitimately makes me dizzy to look at it for too long.

The entire map is awesome and easy to look at - I love how it makes it all Christmasy and gives you the feel of lights and snow and all. Iplay with my pandora going in the background with the christmas station and a coca cola on my right... Thank you Riot for taking the time and efort to think of these awesome things for us.

I am going to have to agree with OP; Even with turning my monitor brightness all the way down, it's like trying to play while staring at the the sun.
