I'll find another game that respects player preferances and strategies over their "direction" for the game if they don't wake up.
I personally dislike the mord changes as well, but he is FAR from unplayable, I know of many players who LIKE the changes and think him better. You should not allow your personal opinion to reflect so poorly on a game that truely DOES strive for far more balance than the majority of of companies out there.

Wow really? Personally I would like a champion a weak! It adds color and personalisation of the game... The only thing I dislike is how they always nerf the new champs right after the release.

To be honest it does seem a lot like Riot is only interested in money. Although some of their design decisions baffle me a bit. For example, Taric and Sivirs reworks, they were both great niche champs, now they're average generic champs. Having said that though, a lot of players seem to like changes like that, even if in the grander scheme they're a nerf.

In Mordes case, I'm unsure as to weather the nerf was called for. He was an immovable object early game in solo lane, who could outfarm anyone easily. Now he seems strong, just without that ridiculously powerful early game. With that in mind, I have a similar opinion of Eve, they both seem strong to me, but I never played them before they were nerfed.

Now to be honest, I think that Riot is going to need to tread carefully in the not to distanct future. They have a large player base, but they do have to keep the people who will pay money interested enough to play the game. Riot could very easily end up being a one hit wonder, I doubt that their investors will be too keen to fund development of another game should LoL fail. Again, with that having been said, investor constraints could have a lot to do with Riots moves lately.

The problem with Morde was that lower level players see no weakness in Morde (I admit, I never did until I looked at the forums for a while). Stand behind minions, he hits you, minions and gets sheild. He destroys your creeps you have nothing to defend yourself with. At higher levels people say, OK he's getting decent farm but he's pushing his lane HARD come gank him for a free kill or at least force him to flash/ghost. Oh, he's farming minions, lets just stand over here so if he hits me I can harass him back along with his health loss from abilities, if he hits my minions just have somebody come for a free kill.

Riot is DEFINITELY only interested in money. They do not give a **** about balance.

My issue is, with 90 champions, you can't balance them all. You have ones who are so anti-fun and OP it kills the experience.

It's not just balancing issues from a flood of new champions, but also a coding and variety disparity. Shyvana is almost widely considered to be as weak and 'unwanted' on a team as early release Yorick and Wukong. Fizz's spear hop is one of the most horribly designed abilities I've seen so far, mostly in the sense that it literally absorbs -anything-. Any missile projectile (NON skillshot) already mid-way toward him is immediately sucked up into his model, making him a direct hard-counter to a ton of different characters that rely on that type of damage. Maybe that's intentional, but it just reeks of lazy design to me.

There's so many more issues with so many other champions, a lot of them have little to no actual new mechanics or different playstyles. There's not really any "wow" to the newer characters, most likely because of everything mentioned above.

Agreed, every 2 weeks is just too often. I think they should release champions once a month instead and spend more time balancing existing content.

Releasing every 2 weeks just makes it harder to balance the game and results in too big a flood of new champions and takes away from time that could be spent updating older champions.

Besides sooner or later you're gonna start running out of ideas for new champions; let's make that point further away and put more effort into making sure the game's quality is good enough to withstand that inevitability, okay?

Also, next Tuesday will actually be 2 weeks from Ahri's release. That's their normal schedule.
Releasing skins=earns money
Releasing skins with new voice and different weapons or hats or something(good skins basically)=earns more money
doing champ releases every 1 month or 2 months=game will be more balanced and the champs should be more fresh and more thought out with a long timer between them. and the game still makes money

For the record, there 450 abilities/passive on Champions currently in the game.

Almost all of these abilities can be regulated into a broad category. Almost every ability in said Category has the same core effect with slightly different secondary effects.

Jax empowers a melee attack. Wukong amps up a melee attack. Shyvana double strikes on a melee attack. Talon applies a bleed on a melee attack. Etc etc. These would go under "Enhanced Auto Attacks", and there's very few abilities, even ultimates, that cannot fall under a category that it shares many aspects with the other abilities in it.

Passives and the complete kit, rather than each individual ability, are what distinguishes each champion Archetype, and even champions within the same archetypes.

There are a few champions who need help, but don't stretch the issue with Champion balance further than that.

I feel bad for all the new people just starting this game. There is no possible way they can get all the champions and runes unless they invest money, or play nonstop till the end of time.

I actually feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I've missed for the past 5 months.....it's stopping me from getting back into LoL just because of all the new champs, new changes, I have to read all the release notes to see what I've missed.
