What are your AP Chogath builds?

When I started playing AP chogath, all I knew was that I wanted to be him. I asked for no advice on the subject and just made a build myself. My build basically focused on any AP item that had health as well.

It goes as follows:
Philosopher's Stone
Sorc Shoes
Rod of Ages
Rylais
Lich Bane (The little MR helps, but mostly for AP and Movespeed and the passive)
Zhonya/Trinity Force (Dont laugh at trinity force >< it works well for ap chogath imo because he is very much a hybrid type character)

Rylais is surprisingly good on him. With Rupture, it applies the slow immediately after you cast it. So it slows them down, reducing their chance of getting away. I personally didn't think it would work like that.

Whoah. That's expert news on Rylai's.

****ing awesome. That alone made this guide worth it.

I'd rather rush Rylai's than get Rod of Ages in that case.

So far, this was my most successful AP ChoGath. It was more like AP/Damage Cho but it was extremely fun.

Boots of swiftness
Rylais
Rod of Ages
Atma's Impaler

If game goes on longer then I'll either go for Guinsoo's rage or Trinity force
Also, I would drink an Elixir of Fortitude on top of this just to take things up a notch. Cheap and fun....also made me glow RED!

Wait, Rylai's makes them slowed upon cast!?!

I tested this out of mass curiosity and it DOES INDEED SLOW then second you cast Rupture (meaning while the spikes are still "channeling" their way out)

It's extremely cool and a nice find, and a possibly nice build for chogath to be built around that

A very hybrid build that is quite reliant on Feast to sustain Cho's massive health pool. I've seen one a few days ago, pretty strong because he was good at keeping alive. A mage tank in the purest sense.
