Why is Obama suddenly against a bill he helped write?

It's like...it's like there's some kind of....election coming up....

Edit: Anyways, Obama is strongly for SOPA, there's just a presidential election coming up and he plans on running. If he gets reelected (lol) you can bet your ass SOPA is going to be one of the first things he pushes.

Because he literally helped write the bill. I'm not kidding.

It an still be overran if Obama vetoes it. It will go back to the judicial branch to override it. I its think the judicial branch

I've heard him say numerous times that he opposes the bill. Please credit your source.

Also, if he is FOR the bill, he will have BETTER chances to win the election, because he would have financial backers from the MPAA, NBC, Time Warner, etc. etc.

The president typically doesn't need that much money to get re-elected, compared to the people running against him.

Presidents kiss babies and shake hands, their opponents have to kiss babies and suck up to people with money.
