So as a joke last night while playing with some friends, I decided that I was going to jungle as Amumu. While we were joking around in the pregame, I left the pad without buying *ANY* items. Without even thinking about it, my friend who was soloing top as Morgana hit Blue with a single Binding and walked away while I proceeded to whale on it and kept tapping 2 like I was expecting the green hp potion to pop up around me and realized what I had done. But the story does not end in tragedy, folks.

I proceeded to take Blue with no problems and then run around the jungle doing the wolves-wraiths-golem loop twice before finally returning to base to buy a chain vest, boots, and a purple ward. Proceeded to take Red with no problems and then gank bottom, coming out of the bush one level ahead of everyone else in the lane and scoring a double kill for our Ashe. We would go on to win that game in 20 minutes.

I just got home from work and did a little test run in a bot game to see if it wasn't some sort of fluke and sure enough with a single barrel from Gragas, I was able to do the exact same thing.

Is this just a random product of my runes and the recent changes to the jungle? In the older days, I tried so many different ways of making Amumu a viable jungler but just couldn't succeed. And now I'm able to take blue with minor help and Tantrum? Were the changes to the jungle that massive?

if you can do a couple of ranked games and show us some records i recon you could bring teh mummy back from the dead (pun intended)

Amumu is, and has been for a while, a great jungler. Without a leash, that is a product of the new jungle, but he was great before.
