It is somewhat frustrating to get into a match to realise you have the wrong runes, and I was wondering if there was a possibility of adding a way to see the masteries/runes in-game. I know simple answer would be "don't select the wrong runes", but it could still be a handy feature nonetheless.

It would be VERY nice to be able to double check what your runes/masteries are. That way you can confirm you picked the right ones, or if not, make an informed decision on how to compensate.
