Just wanted to see if there was any new information regarding an ETA on this, so that color-blind players and people with difficulty seeing it (especially during teamfights and chaos with particles everywhere) can be allowed to play without a further increased handicap. And for those unaware, color-blind mode doesn't change the cursor enough to benefit color-blind players, by their own admission on forums numerous times. I think it gives it a different outline.

We definitely want to give you guys the ability to scale certain elements in the HUD independently, but right now there are a lot of other things that are higher priority, especially with the ramp up to Season 1. Be patient, it's on the list, I promise!

Yeah, I want to improve the cursors so they are more visible in teamfights, etc. Haven't been able to get the art resources lined up to do it because we actually would need to do a bunch of iterations on it to get it to feel better.
Making it user customizable is interesting, I'll investigate how realistic that is, but it's probably unlikely in the near future unfortunately.

Thanks, we worked really hard to try to make color blind mode as comprehensive as possible!
On the topic of cursors, I think we generally have a problem with people losing track of their cursors. Whether they are color blind or not! I know it happens to me. We've talked about how to improve this, but we're working on a bunch of other UI stuff right now.

Have those high priority things for Season 1 almost been wrapped up? Just wanting to know if this will be out any time soon or if the magnitude of changes required to to alter the color of the cursor is as involved and meticulous as the Stealth Rework, which itself is a creature once thought to be as elusive and mythical as the unicorn.

We're eight months shy of 3 years working through a to-do list to reach "*Option to change cursor color". Hey. It is almost Christmas. Am I going to find this under my X-Mas tree?!

I certainly hope the present doesn't have wrapping paper the same color as my carpet! That would be quite an oversight.

For the holidays I was going to sit on the biggest cursor I while not wearing pants. A brighter one would be nice so the surgeon can see it easier.

Its not that I lose sight of it in team fights, it's when using smart-casting I tend to not clearly see the finger tip. Which is the center point for skill shots and I tend to line people up to the knuckle rather than the tip of the finger. Being able to maybe change the shape or color would be great.

well i am color blind and i do use the color blind mode because it got old wasting my aoe on my own team but not all color blind people are the same for example one of my eyes is yellow green and the other is well idk the doc gave up on explaning they are both completely different just add a gamma and lite and dark option and let the player fix it them self
