win7 home premium 64-bit
temperatures were fine
have not seen any other games crash like this on this computer

Having the same problem, in game for maybe 10 - 15 minutes and the game just randomly freezes. I am able to alt-tab out and alt-ctr-del and end the process, then I rejoin and maybe 10 minutes later it freezes again. It just started happening today.

Oh, and I played a custom game with 1 friend and the rest bots and it never froze once during that game...

Well...thanks to the patch my pc is ruined....nothing works now.
I can't format my hdd. I can't reinstall win 7. nothing....So here is my plan.
install xp.
hope its stable. Proceed to use another hdd.
install win 7 on it.
hopefully clean hdd format. then install win 7.
????
Better work...Found out the patch corrupted my whole hd. Really riot?...even my usb ports are messed up because of the patch.. LOL Well then. Guess im just the unluckiest person to received the worst version of the patch. If this brakes any of my pc parts...well what can i do...work my face off buy a new pc again....

Why is adobe air so problematic....why is a patch destroying my pc?

Edit: What so ya know....I can't install on my other hdd ether! Wow thank you!...4 days...only went to sleep ones...thanks for your help riot! Maybe if you give me some money so i can rebuild my pc now that would be great! seems its broken ^_^ Ill just go to my minimum wage job which is non existent in this **** economy and work my way to a new rig!

I'm getting the exact same problem. The looping audio, the freezing, and the entire computer just immediately shutting off while I'm playing. But here's the strange thing - I first thought maybe I just had some corrupted data so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. While it was reinstalling I decided to watch a stream. While watching the stream my computer also shut off. But I'm 99% confident it has to do with this latest patch. I just don't understand why my computer crashed when I didn't even have LoL open.

I have the same problem. My thread is with M11x R2 hard crashes- I have logs there. BSOD and hard crash with sound distortion all hold true. Now my graphic card might be failing normally =(. I just bought a bunch of runes and skins too....

same thing happened to me, suring the middle of a game my computer compeltely siezed up and made league completely unplaying in anyway . I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it now i have ANOTHER problem ( which I have posted about and got no form of answer to it), tip : don't try uninstalling league >_>

Did you use driver sweeper, or manually delete registries etc? (manually deleting registries is scary stuff - I have personally ****ed a lot of **** up doing that :P )
I read from similar problems with other applications/games with similar freezes that reformatting windows does not help. The issue continues. So it was never an option for me. A more in depth guess that it could be a conflict with windows and driver or third party graphics junk.

If your BSODing I would lean more to this being a driver or hardware issue, not the game (although maybe a component of the game is stressing the issue)- if it was just the game then the game would close, or crash leaving your system still running (I would guess).

What are your bosd messages? (right click my computer, advanced, startup and recovery settings, uncheck automatic restart under system failure) I can't help you with the mini dumps, but perhaps wrenchmen can

What exactly is your process for re installing windows? you're deleting the partition, and clean reinstall, or just repair installing? What messages specifically are you getting in respect to your hd error? Does your computer boot to windows?
