Is Veigar good on his own once he gets AoE?

Well, yesterday i was playing on Veigar and i Kinda stayed back because i didnt knwo if he was going to be strong enough to rush alone with minions on a sleepy lane. I got 8 kills that game, but that was after the turrets were down. Any advice?

You are very squishy with viegar, and will not be able to burst down many of the tankier champs unless you are ridiculously fed. He also doesn't have enough escape mechanisms to safetly escape a gank attempt should you push a lane by yourself. Generally, try to stick with the team and learn how to maximize the use of your event horizen (the AoE stun can quickly turn a fight if used properly).

Veigar is awesome if paired up with Amumu. The two champs complement. However, Veigar is still very good as R66Y noted. Just make sure to keep him trailing the group because of his squishiness and nuke when the enemy team clusters.

Veigar isnt a reliable caster, can mess up ALOT
