mids should ALWAYS gank push your lane hard if need be

Mid ganks bot with jungler > ideally you can probably tower dive for 2 kills and off to dragon

If you see their mid roaming you have the option to follow them and fight or push mid hard

Short answer to your question: yes, a good mid is meant to roam around and help out other lanes, it's also up to you to ward wraiths so their jungler can't take the long way to tribush gank top/bot (depends if you're blue or purple)

Mid ganks are really effective because with a ap carry you normally find some type of cc in your kit, if you don't wanna capitalize on your opportunities then please stay in lane and don't help anyone but if you wanna really get ahead start ganking as a mid champ.

It depends on the situation.

One of the big benefits of mid lane is the ability to gank any other lane, and do so effectively. If your bot laners are pushing hard but your top laner's pushed to his turret, then you can gank top, or vice versa. Top and bot lanes can really only gank mid lane, which is shorter anyway, thus making mid ganks harder.

However, you can't leave lane all the time because then you miss out of farm, and if your lane opponent is a good pusher, your turret will take damage. This is one of the reasons I like taking Teleport on mid champs: you can push back one wave, gank, and then teleport back mid if the waves are getting too close to your turret.

In this situation, it sounds like your bot players were just whiners.

In a nutshell ganking usually wins the game. But don't just focus on kills. Understand that 1 turret > 1 kill or 2 kills.

Don't know why you think a kill is 100 gold because it's 300, which still isn't equal to a turret but setting back a strong top laner or bottom laner by making them lose cs, levels, and ultimately their lane is worth 1 tower going down to make 1 player become next to useless. no this is not achieved by one gank it's achieved through many but if a ap mid can push your tower in an instant then your jungler should cover lanes.

Your team was just basically QQing... I mean yeah you can go and gank if youve harassed your enemy to go to their base and pushed your lane hard but under normal circumstances your team needs to play smart by not over extending without wards and such and such... normally ill get a gank attempt or two in while I mid but not always it really just depends on how well you are doing

If you have a twisted fate on your team yes he should be ganking with his ult from mid.
