James shrugs and stretches briefly, working out the kinks the fall had given him.

Christina suddenly charges, trying to close the distance to make the sword less effective.

James had been expecting Christina to charge the second he started stretching. Moving carefully, he steps forward and swings his sword before Christina can close enough distance.

Christina rolled below the blade, using the move to bring her knife down at his chest and stomach.

The dagger rends through his shirt, leaving a bloody gash. He gasps, not really having ever recieved an injury of this level before, and collapses.

Christina doesn't take any chances and hops back defensively.

James groans and staggers back to his feet, blood dripping from his chest.
"E...enough..." he manages before crumpling, his body creating a cloud of dust as he hits the floor.

"Hmph, it was just a scratch!" Christina said sternly, turning her back on him in disappointment

A pool of blood begins accumulating around James' limp form.

Christina turned back to James, kneeling next to his form, inspecting his wound.
