Gangplank waited until the thrust came towards him, he used the flat of the blade to push the spear to the side, he the lifted one of his feet and kicked the shield as hard as he could.

Mao walked into the grounds, looking at the people currently fighting. He smiled, there could be some fun to be had here should the chance arrive. However, he simply decided to wait and watch for now, seeing if any opportunities would arise.

The kick had next to no effect on Pantheon. He had taken the impact of an entire army, being on the frontline, the kick of a single man was nothing overwhelmingly powerful. Pantheon struck again, aiming at Gangplank's midsection with his spear.

Pantheon gaze was still locked upon Lux, and remained unwavering, as always. He gave no visible response to Lux's compliment, but began to circle her. After a second, he would dash forward and aim a hard stab at Lux's abdomen.

Lux held her sword firmly with both hands, knuckles white. When Pantheon lunged, Lux visibly panicked. Still, she parried his attack by basically attacking his sword, rather than actually deflecting it. Using that momentum, she spun around, and swung at Pantheon, using the sword as if it were a baseball bat. Needless to say, the form would be complimented by the description of 'sloppy'.

Lux did not seem to be following up to her words too accurately. No matter. Pantheon came expecting such a thing. He quickly ducked under the sword, and then would try to sweep Lux off her feet, and then rapidly close in, trying to bring the tip of his sword to her neck, and end the fight.

It worked perfectly. Lux was tripped neatly, fell straight onto her back, and looked up at Pantheon as he pointed her sword at her.

"...that was embarrassing." She said sheepishly.

From the sky a great battle cry could be heard as Vice Emargo came down like a down-to-earth-Rocket right at Mao's location.
"AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!" Vice screamed as he plummeted towards the earth above Mao.

"Perhaps you should be better prepared to follow up on your words next time."

And with that, Pantheon withdrew his sword, quickly wiped the blood off of it, and sheathed it.

Mao looked up at the yell, curious. He grinned slightly at Vice's eagerness and stood his ground, watching Vice fall above him.
