i got one out of the random thing and i don t know how to use it

Quintessense slots don't unlock until you are summoner level 10, 20 and 30. They are the big purple glyphs in your rune book. So, I'm assuming you're under level 10, so all you need to do is continue to level and you will eventually be able to use quintessences.

in the rune system there r three minor rune types and one major the minors r broken down into marks seals and glyphs the majors r called quintessence at level 1 u start off with a open mark spot and every time u level u get another rune spot opened in this order mark seal glyph mark seal glyph mark seal glyph quintessence so every 10th level u should open 1 quint slot u have 9mark slots 9 seal slots and 9 glyph spots and only 3 quint slots... chose your runes wisely and always play hard good luck summoner
