Ok, i'm just curious how bans work, being an honest player and everything, I just want to know how the system works incase something weird happens...
1: [The leaver's banning system]--------- I have heard that there is a separate, automated, system for banning people who continually leave. I can't remember what it is called, but I am curious how it racks up marks against someone before it assigns a penalty. Does it ban once it reaches a limit of marks, or does it ban if the person leaves a certain amount of times within a set amount of matches?
What i'm trying to ask is if I leave or go AFK, which I only do if it is a dire emergency like if WWIII breaks out, a certain amount of times in general will I be banned? Or if I leave a game every now and then, but between them 50 or so games go by, will I be banned?
This assuming I'm not being reported to tribunal...
2: [Tribunal Questions]---------- So I have some questions about tribunal. First off, can you be banned for being bad, this excludes trolling. If someone is having a hard time concentrating, or is just plain bad or clumsy at video games can they be banned? I mean some of the challenge of the game is compensating for the bad ones, its just a fact of life, if you hate it so much then stop driving, talking to people, ect...
Also, if someone goes AFK but has a completely justifiable reason, and they state it in the chat to all the players, tribunal does take that into consideration right, especially if other players acknowledge, or other people who know that explain the reason too...
If someone has connection errors, can tribunal see and fluctuations in connections to justify whether or not they are actually having trouble and it is not there fault... For example, I have been banned twice in total, both times is because Cox has a stroke and cuts the internet for like 5 hours, and believe me, People and I have left their customer service department fearful with how angry we are...
3: [Punishments] Are the punishments given by Riot or by peers? Personally I think it should be given by riot after they review the verdict come upon by the peers, because I was thinking, couldn't there be a bad apple in the bunch that tries to screw everyone over... For example, there is a guy I know named PhailNinja, I know him in real life. He like to "piss" people off, and he gets everyone banned that he possible can, without even looking at the case, I know this for one because I know him, and two because he makes a public scene bragging about how much he does this...
If someone is banned but they bring attention to the fact that it is a fraudulent ban, can they be pardoned? I know that some people can be banned even when they do nothing wrong, ...humans... , so I wanted to know if and how they are unbanned i that is possible...
How do Perma-bans work? I know that they must do something awfully bad in order to achieve this, but i'm curious what constitutes as a perma-bannable offense. I am nice to everyone on the game, even if they are not nice back, so if it has to do with people's personalities and non-cooperatibility, then how bad must that be? Also, can someone be perma-banned for being AFK or leaving? I think it would be understandable if they go AFK or leave EVERY single game for a really long time and screw up people's days, but if they do it every now and then, and try not to do it, I think it should not be perma-bannable...
One more thing, if someone has purchased or attained Riot points through money, then I don't think they should be perma-bannable, considering they bought an item related to your game through real money... Now if someone doesn't support Riot at all and makes an "arse" of themselves than its fair game bro...
I'm just curious because this whole part of the game's system is kinda in the fog for me right now... Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
