You'd think that.

It's hard for me to put myself into the shoes of these young ones. I tell you though, this new generation hates being told they're young and don't know ****. We have a goddamn pandemic of slacker-ass parents running around not teaching obedience and respect to their spawn.

With the new rank system update, I'm just gonna declare victory and call it good for now.

I'm not convinced. The placement match bullcrap seems to be unchanged. In fact, nothing seems to have changed at all really.

I get better teammates in my level 1 games on a new account (just tested) than I do in ranked placement matches. In fact, I get people who admit to this being their second game and somehow, they are able to not feed. When I request that people not feed in my ranked games, there is a notable lack of reaction and/or response.

Players should be placed at a determined elo for their first ranked match based on their total W/L up to 30. This is the most logical solution. There would be enough deviation between the good and bad players' W/L in the 200-300'ish games going up to 30 to appropriately place people at the correct elo with players of the same skill level. /thread perhaps?

I was just coming on here to ***** about how ****ed up the elo system is.
Every game I've played with and lost it's been someone who goes, say, 1-7 in the first 15 minutes and throws the game.
Every game I've won I haven't had "that guy" on my team. The system is broken and needs to be fixed.

Always disturbing to see game developers ignore problems like this and act like everything is fine
