So happy to have found this thread.

To help investigate this:
- playing windowed + border less. Dual screens but not sure that is a factor.
- Lol game not selected (like when reading a lol guide in Firefox or browsing the net or setting up music)
- lol goes from champion select to loading actual game

If you follow these steps on my computer, you will get it to reproduce every time.

Any updates on this? with the last patch it is almost 100% chance on new games. It is VERY annoying

Fix this already.

lol... best fix at the moment is Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to pull up Task manager. and click Minimize then Maximize. (keeps it in Borderless)

This seriously needs to be fixed.

Riot this needs to be fixed. This bug has been around WAY too long without resolution. For people who don't know the annoying work-arounds, they leave or afk in games unable to play. Really, this is ridiculous. I've personally been dealing with this bug for over 8 months. Where is the QA?

Been having this problem on a majority of game starts. One thing I noticed is it is because of dual screen. I may or may not have had my cursor on the other monitor. Riot, need anything to help make this issue fixable?
