This is a short guide on how to land Alistar's W-Q combo with near 100% certainty.

You're typical combo involves using W and then either timing or spamming Q. This often works however there are times where it won't work. Maybe your latency was a little higher than you are used to, the range was a little bit closer than normal, your timing was just off by a bit. No matter what the reason the combo didn't go off. In order to get the combo to go off correctly 100% of the time you have to do something which feels a little bit weird.

You use W like normal and then HOLD Q immediately afterwards.

By doing this you are telling Alistar to use Q the moment the W ends guaranteeing a knock up.

So you W, click on enemy then hold Q once youve charged? Or do you W, click, and hold Q before he charges? (which Id think would interrupt the W).

How is holding Q different than spamming Q as soon as you see Alistar charge towards them?
