The Twisted Treeline

Karthus' other castle (This is supposed to be a place visitors may come to for safety and hospitality. Karthus will not be there most of the time, but accommodations are there for any visitors).

Though the thick veil of fog that almost perpetually shrouded the coastline would doubtlessly dissuade many mortals that the eerie rumors of the haunted isles had not, Hecarim found solace in the chilling environment as he plodded along the beach. So many months of tirelessly campaigning to bring about the utter destruction of the living and preaching the coming of the Ruined King to a less than enthused audience could wear on one's patience, even that of the unliving. Still, it was certainly fitting to return to his place of renewed origin, where the spirits had called him back. Heaving a low sigh of sorts, Hecarim began to plod inland.

Karthus' Castle

Semira hadn't been to the Shadow Isles in quite some time. It was chilled for this time of year, not that it particularly mattered to the strange woman. Footsteps left in her wake from snowfall if such a place ever saw the white of winter. The long, ebony coat danced behind her with each step, gloved fingers lingering at her sides as she drew nearer. She didn't pause, her steps confident despite not seeming to belong in such a place.

This was her connection. The monster that made her. Her 'Father' as it were

A tall door? A small one? It didn't matter. The castle was before her, causing her steps to stop and a slight tilt of her head to occur, pressing her hand to the door top open it with one smooth motion. Semira looked inside for only a moment before entering not bothering to wipe her feet as she did. The dragon helm worked as her eyes as her own were hidden beneath the lower lip of it, blue orbs searching the innards with a strange, inky fog creeping through it and seeming to dance. It stirred the blood of what had come from these isles.

At first, most might assume her human. Ginger-red hair poked out beyond the bottom of the helm, just short of shoulder length with bits of longer locks resting around her shoulders. Her skin was pale with the black contrasted against it making it look all the more so. She was of average height, and seemed built the same at 5'7 looking simple despite the aura around her. Bits of dark blue complimented the primary black of her outfit, with a bladed whip rested against her hip to finish the look.

There was no smile to accompany the pleasentries of being back 'home'. Instead, the woman would start to walk in search of something to warm her body. A drink, a meal, or company. It didn't matter which, as long as this place proved worth visiting.

((Wait, does this mean that you finally accept Karthus' new lore?))

It was the average day on the gloomy Shadow Isles. The air was heavy with fear, the sky colored with a delightfully dark hue, and the snow was quite welcoming for the shadow warrior. Such conditions were perfect for a walk through the woods, and Phantom did just that. He took a scenic path past some spirits and undead, including the occasional shadow being. Upon seeing the familiar castle, Phantom thought it would be nice to visit the lich or just hang around the place. Though the door was already opened, but nevertheless, he walked in.

He cleared his throat before yelling out in a singsong tone. "ANYONE HOME!!!"

(( I actually like his new lore. Its just that I've RPed as Karthus for so long and the lore change would affect the established character too much. If I wanted to, I could RP by his new lore, and I did for a while, it wasn't as fun. I'm trying to bridge his relationship with the Shadow Isles and his old lore. ))

Karthus' Castle

The visitors were treated to a little surprise, the surprise being that Karthus wasn't on mainland Valoran. Karthus heard the visitors enter, and he walked out to greet them.

"Welcome travelers, welcome to the Shadow Isles, and to my castle. If you need anything..."

Karthus notices that one of the visitors is Phantom.

"Hello Phantom, it has been a while since I have last seen you. What brings you here? There are not any particularly many women here." He says casting a glance at the other visitor.

"You are new here, and you seem to be corrupted." He says to the demon-girl. "By a corruption of the sort that is unusual to come by. I suppose it is natural for you though. Do you have any particular reason for visiting, or are you here sightseeing?"

Phantom roared with laughter before dispelling the helmet to wipe tears. He was stilling quietly snickering. "Kathus as much as I would like to scour the Isles finding myself a good looking necromancer or two, I am now settled. Also, she has a thing for always keeping tabs on me, so best not make stupid mistakes. The real reason why I am even in your castle was to have a nice talk about matters going on here."

"That's good to hear, given that your ability to cause yourself harm is about as great as your ability to woo females."

"You came to visit? That's unusual. You almost never visited The Howling Marsh. What is it you wished to speak of?"

"Trust me, on many of my trips and such. My ability to bring myself much pain is apparent in all, and most times are not pleasant. I am here to inquire on things going on around the Isles because even though I have a place here, most of my time is spent elsewhere."
