This is the second iteration of Treeline Talk, a reoccurring forum post to start a discussion with the Treeline community, both veterans and new players to try help each other out and strategize about Twisted Treeline. Last time many of you shared your thoughts on team comps and how you went about forming them. This time I want us to discuss getting that advantage that is crucially important, especially in the Twisted Treeline.
Question for Discussion:How does your team aim towards getting that advantage early on to snowball to victory? And how does your team defend against letting the other team take the upper hand?

If you can prioritize dragon early-game you can get a good advantage, That and Red

Sticking together and team communication are the most important, as ganks and such are huge leads. This is because turret health is very low on tt, and an ace even pretty early on can lead to the loss of 2 towers extremely quickly.

just my two cents.

Basic map control early and often:

Wards at Red and DRG, always checking opponent position before extending, and consistent communication.

Awareness is key. If your top lane has baited his opponent into over extending at least one bot or your jungle should be moving to gank before he pings for it. If your team is aware you'll punish simple little mistakes like this and gain a solid advantage.

Zone out top/gank top to get our top nice and fat before they can recover.

To defend, basically communicate and let everyone know where the enemies are at all times. Ward Red and Dragon if needed.
