pretty much pick any ranged character and you got him down pat. Caitlyn is agood since even if she gets sticky juiced she can use her net shot to escape.

Any good Singed is not gonna die pre-6. Post-6, they'll just tower dive you for first blood or something. Smart players ward the top lane, so you probably won't get a gank off unless he's really low and you have CC. You really just have to play the farm game and hope the other lanes go well because Singed is gonna be in your face at all times.

Kayle should be your pick against Singed. You have ranged harass and a slow. Which is really all you need against Singed.

Teemo is a safe counter to singed. Like the previous poster said , once you get your ultimate he's easy to deal with. Just make sure you also shroom the river and bushes (tribush) and any possible path the jungler/ganker will come. Even before lvl 6 you can harass singed with blind+autoattacks and when he comes close to Fling you , just have move quick ready to kite him , when he turns around which all players will , continue to harass him with blind and autoattacks. Just make sure you don't chase him too much to avoid dmg from his creeps. Farming will be easy especially if you zone him out. The key to beating singed top is basically kiting well and always be aware of anyone ganking while your busy toying with singed. Also expect him to use flash--> Fling after he gets frustrated lol.

the heal/ghost is crazy for top lane

Vlad already completely counters singed, but the problem is that you can't kill a singed at top if all he wants to do is farm. He can just farm all the minions at his tower with poison. Just keep pushing in his tower and attack the tower while E or Q'ing him whenever he gets in range. Sooner or later their jungler will come to gank you. But that's okay because you warded and you are ready for it. Let them chase you while you continue to E/Q and when they chased you pretty far, drop your ult, do your W, and use heal/ghost to kill them both.

If their jungler never comes or you can't kill him/singed, then keep pushing to his tower. Bring a pink ward to the river and gank mid.

You should never die against singed as vlad top with this build even if you get ganked, as long as you play correctly.

remember to use heal summoner spell AFTER your W and BEFORE getting ignited, this is key
