Bacon rules; I like to put bacon with my eggs; and cook a steak with some bacon on it for flavour. I also like to make bacon/lettuce/tomato, but I add jack cheese, jalapeno, onion, dijon mustard, oil/vinegar, salt/pepper and extra bacon. I put Bacon on my spicy italian sandwhich's, burgers, braughtwurst w/ cheese, bacon, jalapenos. Sometimes I just eat bacon by iteself. Breakfast burritos are also good with bacon. I chop bacon up into little pieces and throw it in pasta. If I could run across a sandy beach into the arms of a giant strip of bacon, I would.

I played HoN the last few days. Thus far, I'm unimpressed. It looks beautiful, I'll give it that. But it feels like a face-lifted dota, that you have to spend about 30 minutes figuring out which hero and what item is it's dota-equiv. Not to say it's a bad game. If you were content with Regular DOTA, then the next logical step is HoN.

I feel LoL is a lot bolder. Completely different and new items, as well as completely new heroes. There are some heroes in LoL that are inspired by dota heroes. But HoN has carbon copied their heroes from DOTA.

Also, the match-making. People complain about the LoL grind, but at least it's a lot better than the Warcraft 3 game list where host will kick you for no reason before the game starts.

Not to mention, the summoner spells, mastery customizations, and soon to be runes. AND ITS FREE. Yeah, LoL has some grind to it, but I don't mind that since, actually playing the game itself is fun.

I know, the meta-game of LoL is currently in the crapper, but that's something a few patches will remedy. overall, I'm more impressed with LoL's direction than HoN's. HoN doesn't have much meta-game issues, because it isn't really a new game - just kind of a face lift of an already existing one.

If its not broken why fix it, dota does so many things right why try to make a game different to make it worse aka LOL

LoL's match-making is better. It still has problems, sure. But the way you join games HoN doesn't even *try* to improve on Warcraft III's game list method.

I like they want to move away from the farming focus of DOTA with LoL. Sure, they need to pull it back some, but still, I like what they're doing thus far.

The developers are very vocal in the community about making changes to fix the current meta-game.

All it'll take is for a few balance tweaks and LoL will be a great game, IMO.

There's nothing wrong with Face-Lifting DOTA and giving it a new coat of paint. But HoN just feels like the same game I've played for 5 years. LoL feels like a more progressive, new game, with overall more options for custimization in runes and masteries/summoner spells. New heroes that are familiar but new and unique. (Every HoN is essentially a carbon copy of a Dota Hero.)

If you're just looking for DOTA with new graphics, then sure HoN is a good game. I was looking for something more progressive. I like what Riot is trying to do, and I feel like they're pretty close to succeeding.

I haven't been around HoN lately, but I do know that months ago is was on their To-Do list. Quite possible they've gotten it implemented by now, but if you think LoLs matchmaker is horrid (which has probably a thousand manhours of work put into it or more), I imagine there's can't even begin to compare.

You better not be hunterZ from MOBA gamers. If you are, thank god both your accounts are perma-banned. Your like those republicans who dont like the health care bill because its not made by them.
