The League has grown large since its conception. Many chapmions have joined, Demacians, Noxians, Ionians, people of Piltover, Bandle City, and The Shadow Isles as well as other denizens of Valoran out to achieve their own ends. Yet one group stands out, its position not carefully observed by the nations of Valoran, the Void.
Within a dark room, whose only contents are a table, some chairs, and only enough light to make the room navigatable, those who have noticed the increase of Void biengs entering Valoran gather to discuss their thoughts and plans once more.
[Male voice 1] This is the third one...
An image of Kha'Zix springs to life on the table.
[Male voice 1] Kha'Zix, vicious, unrelenting, and constantly adapting. This is the third being of the Void to infiltrate Valoran.
[Male voice 2] They just keep getting worse... first the voilent one, then the hungry one, and now a full fledged predator. How much longer can we sit here, the invasion is inevitable.
[Female voice 1] Worse yet, we can not get close to this one. Its rivalry with Rengar may either be our advantage or downfall depending on who is stronger.
[Male voice 2] We can not rely on that beast to take Kha'Zix out, and if Kha'Zix consumes Rengar the problem will escalate even further.
[Male voice 3] Here we are, watching the end aproaching us and yet we are the only ones who see it. Demacia and Noxus waste their energy bashing each other completely unaware of what is come.
The imgae of Kha'Zix fades and is replaced by the images of Demacia and Noxus.
[Male voice 2] Perhaps Demacia is just too ignorant That fool Jarvan doesn't know how to rule, he can only see what is in front of him.
[Male voice 1] Don't sell him too short, you Noxians are no pushovers, and Swain hasn't payed too much attention either, nobody has.
[Male voice 3] What can we expect in terms of military resistance should the invasion occur soon.
[Female voice 1] We Ionians are still recovering from the invasion of Noxus, Demacia and Noxus are powerful but it is unclear if they will Cease their bickering when the invasion begins, we should not count on it.
[Male voice 2] ... What of Malzahar and Kassadin.
The images of the two city states fades, and is quickly replaced by Malzahar and Kassadin's images.
[Male voice 3] We can not trust them, they are contaminated. Valuable as they could be we must plan for the worst and assume they will turn when the invasion begins. Where do we stand in terms of technological backing, brute force alone will not win this conflict.
[Female voice 2] I've comissioned what help I can in Piltover, but as it stands we do not have enough information on the Void beings to create viable mass produced countermeasures. The Void beings seem to have more information on us than we do of them, and gaining more still. With each kill and death in the Fields of Justice they learn more and more about the strongest fighters of Valoran.
Once more the images on the table change, Malzahar and Kassadin are replaced by the three, Cho'Gath, Kha'Zix, and Kog'Maw.
[Male voice 3] We are running out of options, the invasion could happen at any moment, and the advance party of the Void keeps growing. Direct data aquisition may be the only viable option available.
[Female voice 1] In other words, join the League and fight our targets directly.
[Male voice 1] You realize the risks with this course of action, they would learn our attack paterns and begin to adapt, the predator being the fastest to do so.
[Male voice 2] What's life without a little risk, after all it is not as if all of Runeterra is at stake...
[Female voice 2] Sarcasm is unbecoming of you.
[Male voice 3] So be it, what else can we do but wait for the invasion to begin. Hope for the best, expect the worst. Begin preperations for our departure at once, gather your staffs and materials and make ready for many battles to come. If we fail, all is lost.
[All other voices] Right...
The images fade from the table and the five make for the door to prepare for thier journey, their battles, and inevitably, war...
