Poppy in ranked?

I really want to play Poppy, but I just have no idea where to put her in a ranked game. I've tried top, but it seems like she can get shut down easily with many of today's solo top champions. Can anyone tell me how to play Poppy in ranked?

I don't think she can get shut down easily if you play her right. And she can jungle too she's just really mana dependent. I think she's got to be one of the most mana dependent champs in the game to start.
