Very soon Dulcina's breath slowed and he could feel her arm on his no longer under her own pressure. It seemed she had drifted off to sleep. From her smile and the way she moved around it seemed to be that of a good dream. Suddenly something in her body felt a little... different. Not a bad different but it wasn't so relaxed. She seemed to be mumbling in her sleep. "After... ... first... dirty... mmm... like..." She seemed to be mumbling. If Hinderance did decide to move away he would notice she seemed to stay asleep, happy in her dream.

Equiste's breathing got a little heavier feeling the longing and lust in her mental response, increasing his own. His eyes followed her hand as it fidgited with her robe, knowing what his body was telling him to do right now. 'I... Thank you Cassandra...' He said through the link, using the response to help calm him a little. He seemed to hesitate out loud before saying something else across the link. 'Perhaps we should... I don't know... Chill somewhere else that isn't here? Maybe that place in Ionia you took me that time?' This time the emotions across the link were controlled, making it seem like a friendly outing rather than...

Hinderance would remain by her side for the rest of the night, not wanting her to wake up to an empty room alone. He smiled as he gently brushed her hair, now wishing he hadn't given Reshaya 90% of his savings still he did owe her a thing or two.

Cassandra couldn't seem to stop smiling and really her jaw felt like it was starting to buckle, but even then she just couldn't stop doing so. As if complying she opened a rift to the Drifting Lotus, they really didn't have reservations at this point, but Cheng always seemed to have at least one room free for her creator. "I have opened a way Equiste. I am ready when you are." Cassandra stood by the rift waiting for Equiste.

Drifting Lotus

Across the street from the Drifting Lotus a rift had opened. The local populace seemed unfazed by the sudden portal as people from all sorts of places visited their town these days. Which also provided a grand amount of revenue for a tiny town such as theirs. Still they didn't have plans to expand only develop further. So far the roads have been redone with cobblestone so that it was easier for people to see and now there were plenty of street lights keeping their town lit.

Dulcina continued to sleep soundly for the rest of the night, happily dozing in his embrace. She mumbled a few words every now and then as well as the odd giggle, her body completely relaxed.

Equiste took a quick look at what they were wearing. Well, what they normally would wear when working. Oh well, not that bad really to go in. 'Then I guess that means we are ready now.' He said over the link, smiling with a feeling of happyness. For him it was two fold, being with Cassandra especially outside of work and her feeling confident enough to leave the institute completely. He made his way through the rift with her.

Drifting Lotus

Equiste and Cassandra emerged from the rift. It seemed they were making their way to the Drifting Lotus establishment.

Drifting Lotus

Cassandra kept close to Equiste for it was quite a while since she has left the residence, still with Equiste by her side she didn't feel as alienated being outside. Here they could both see a waitress outside helping guests get seated. Noticing Equiste and Cassandra she the waitress rang a small bell and smiled towards the two.

Soon after the ring Cheng came out of the establishment with his arms wide open. "Cassandra my dear girl! I was so worried about you! You really should have at least sent a letter or something to tell me you were alright. Still seeing you up and about means you are doing well then?" Cheng was about to ask even more questions, but quickly stopped himself seeing Equiste. "Oh! Summoner Equiste great to see you again."

Cassandra smiled softly at Cheng and calmly replied to a few of his questions. "Yes, I am terribly sorry for not keeping in touch...things have been quite rough. Still I am doing much better now and I wanted to ask if you happened to have a room?"

Cheng hearing the request motioned them into the Drifting Lotus. As he walked them inside two waitresses joined behind Equiste and Cassadra. As they passed the stalls, both of them could see a number of different people here. Some looked quite shady, but everyone looked like they were here to have a good time and didn't disrupt anyone around them. Cheng led them to a private room like last time. Cheng bowed and stated that he would be back with the menu. As Cassandra and Equiste toke a seat in the room the waitresses brought in some complimentary green tea and poured each of them a cup before leaving.

Cheng returning with the menu's motioned for the door to be closed behind. As soon as the door closed Cheng looked at Cassandra while passing both them the menu's. "Cassandra since you are here could you later tell Hinderance that the preparations are nearly complete for his little trip? I have to say I never expected Hinderance to be a likely investor, but my has it helped." Cheng toke a look at Equiste with a smile. "Alright, well seeing as how you have a strong young man with you I will take my leave, just tell the waitress what you wish to order." With that Cheng left the room quietly leaving Equiste and Cassandra to their own devices.

Cassandra nodded to Cheng before he left and opened up her menu. "Hrmmm....."

The Lotus of Drifting

Equiste checked to see if Cassandra was close to him. He felt like putting an arm around her but resisted for now. He was in two minds currently. Well, not literally but... He liked being close to her though. He smiled as Cheng greeted Cassandra warmly. It would help her to know people slightly outside their Institute group were happy to see her about. He inclined his head as Cheng spoke to him. "And a good greetings to you as well. Have you been well?" He asked politely. As she said things had been tough he couldn't help but give her a quick reassuring hug with his arm.

[i]He followed Cheng as he walked, staying close beside Cassandra as they walked. Having been here more than once he didn't really notice the patrons. He took a seat right beside Cassandra, going as far as to pull hers out for her to sit down. He took a sip of his tea right after it had been poured. He smiled as he was called 'young'. "Not as young as I used to be..." He muttered to himself. Watching Cassandra pick up a menu he did so himself. Right, most of these were fish dishes. Not really his preference (which the illusion would of shown) so he decided to let Cassandra decide his fate.
"Hmm... I'm not sure what I want. I think I'll have something you suggest." He said, browsing over the menu, but not really interested in it.

The Lotus of Drifting

Cassandra skimmed over the menu to see if they had anything new, but really it didn't change all that often. Thinking on Equiste's behalf as well she knew what she wanted to get the both of them. "I think I know something we would both enjoy." She went over to the screen door and whispered her order to the two waitresses before returning to her seat where she placed a hand over Equiste's. "It's nice being outside again....thank you for coming with me." She really wanted to be more intimate, but kept it back so that she didn't force anything on Equiste.

Unconciously when Cassandra put her hand on his he placed his thumb over the top of it, massaging it a little before settling. Equiste's eyes flicked down and noticed his thumb was there but pretended not to see it. He smiled a wide smile at her. "Its nice seeing you outside again. And I should be the one thanking you for having to put up with my company." He said with a self effacing smile, before grinning widely again. He had been tempted to call her his friend, his best friend, something else... But he held back. He relaxed his smile and adjusted his position so his upper body was closer to Cassandra. "So how does it feel to be working again?" He asked her, wondering how she was coping with it all.

Drifting of the Lotus

"It was strange going back to a normal routine again, but with all the help I have been receiving it felt somewhat more natural." Cassandra leaned in on Equiste blushing again. "And more so with you being around I felt confident enough to push myself further." As they talked the waitresses came back with Cassandra's orders. Both plates were medium rare steaks, the meat on the outside looked well cooked with plenty of side dishes to compliment the steak. They even brought in garlic bread and some gravy as well. There was a small bowl with shredded cheese, but it was optional. "I asked for steak as I recall that you didn't really like raw fish, but I made a few tiny changes. The meat is kobe beef quite a delicacy as the fat is extremely well marbled throughout the meat. That and the texture is said to be much more tender than any cut of beef found in Demacia or Noxus."

The Drifting Lotus... But where does it end up?

"I'm glad to hear that." He said, smiling to her as she leaned on him. "Yeah, I've only been on break for a few weeks but it feels strange going back into a working routine again. I'm glad its only light duties at this stage." A feeling of warmth could be felt over the link when she mentioned his presence was helping her to feel confident. He felt great his presnce was helping her.
He raised an eyebrow as the steaks came, medium rare for both of them. Without thinking he smiled at Cassandra, grabbing half of the cheese and sprinking it on his steal, then pouring some of the gravy over the top. "I see. I can't wait to taste it!" He said somewhat excitedly. He would of rather the meat well done than it being so rare, but perhaps the meat was better this way. Cutting into the meat and putting it in his mouth he was given the sweet juicy taste. She was right. Unfortunately for him it being as rare as it was did detract from the taste a bit for him but he ignored it. It still tasted great. He tilted his head, looking towards her. "So what drinks did you order?" Cassandra knew he was a bit of a soda addict as well as one of his favourite wines was the Demacian made 'Blue Label' (Can't think of any good names....), a sweet tasting wine. When he was eating though he tended to sit back in his chair focusing on the food over much else. But he had always been like this.
