The Drifting Lotus

"Indeed we are, but there is something to the water here that you might find interesting as well." Hinderance begins manipulating the pool of water, but when normally the water would begin to churn and act like a geyser or waterfall the water here did not. Dulcina can see the pillar of water continue to reflect everything around it while the water remains completely undisturbed. Hinderance forms it to a transparent gate that seemed as it if was made from clear glass. "I haven't figured out why it does this, but I like the effect, but other than this peculiar little effect the water is otherwise unremarkable. Still maybe we can find out together why this is at a later date since our presence is required back at the institute. No doubt we have more work to do." Hinderance nudges Dulcina forward with him into the pillar back to the institute.

((Right not much we can do back at the residence with Equiste and Cassandra unless Kiara suddenly drops by so I suppose thats the end of that one for a bit.))

(OOC: Yeah. I suppose its assumed they've been working during the week since this technically happened a week ago and... Well, I'm sure we'll arrange something.)

The Drifting Lotus

Dulcina smiled as she watched the water go up.
"It did feel unusual. Yes, I suppose it could be an interesting study in our spare time." She said with a chuckle. She lets herself get nudged, preparing the spells as she does so Hinderance doesn't have to modify his spell to accomodate her. It wasn't long before they were back at the Institute.

Hinderance's Residence

A rift opened up Reshaya still maintaining it from the point of origin to allow Ryu and FilFire to pass through before she would make the jump.

((Right I will continue the Dulcina story line tomorrow because after Reshaya manages to calm FilFire a bit I will need to head to bed anyways XD))

Hindrance's Residence

FilFire flies through the rift, catching himself on the floor and leaving long claw marks in it. Before he can jump back through Ryu jumps through and spins, intending to slam FilFire with his tail. FilFire grabs the tail and smashes Ryu against the ground, then fires several black flame balls. Ryu jumps up and fires a stream of black flames back. FilFire creates a large explosion, leaving a large crater. Where the black flames land the area gets destroyed. FilFire and Ryu continue fighting, throwing black flames against each other while moving at high speed, each one trying to get the other in a submissive position.

Hindrance's Residence

Reshaya followed in through the portal and watched FilFire and Ryu have at it. She would probably have to help rebuild this time around she thought to herself. Cassandra noticing the fighting came out of the library and turned on a magic and force dampener. Immediately, FilFire and Ryu could feel their magic drop by half its original power, and they could both also notice that when punching or slamming each other it didn't hit as hard no matter how much more power they added. They were by no means on completely equal grounds, but they both were doing significantly less collateral damage. Cassandra finding her way to the source looked at her sister with a look of disapproval. "So FilFire and Ryu are having a brawl and you brought them here?.....ugh.....you know there are other places for this..." Reshaya shot a look at Cassandra, "Yes....but other places aren't designed specifically to handle the mass amounts of magic and / or trauma from a force like FilFire and Ryu. You should know this is the safest option." Cassandra could imagine that their residence was indeed the most plausible option in containing the amount of destruction, but she didn't have to like it. "Still you could have taken them out to the Plague jungles or even to the middle of the ocean rather than here."

Hindrance's Residence

FilFire's ears twitch and he targets Cassandra. Around him the ground erupts in black flames, making Ryu retreat. He focuses all his rage and killing intent on her.

"You."

He releases a burst of darkness and sprints towards Cassandra. Ryu follows him but FilFire turns around briefly to hit him full with a blast of chaos before continuing. Behind him the black flames follow, rupturing the ground. FilFire shoots chaos bolts at all origins of magic to disable anything hindering him, including hopefully whatever is reducing his attack power. Ryu gets blasted back by the explosion against a wall, shattering it. He looks at his blue fur inside the darkness. He shouts towards where Cassandra and Reshaya were.

"You guys get out, I don't know how to control this one properly."

Hindrance's Residence

Cassandra quickly drops a rift down and disappears, as she falls through the rift she activates the lockdown Reshaya had designed in the past. Where upon activation the enchantment locked FilFire, Ryu and Reshaya inside together while no one inside seemed to be able to open any new rifts. Breaking through would be trouble some as well, but they would need to see how much power it would take. FilFire's attempts at disabling the origins of magic were unsuccessful as the entirety of the cavern had magical gems, items, bindings, enchantments, and other sources that masked what was actually routing the power to them. Cassandra sent a private message to Reshaya who acknowledge her sister through a mental nod, now all she had to do was to let FilFire work out his anger just a bit.

Hindrance's Residence

FilFire roars in frustration as his target disappears and the place gets locked down. He looks at Reshaya then jumps on a nearby wall and launches himself backwards towards Ryu, covered in black flames. Ryu looks at Reshaya. With her in here using his ability would likely cause trouble, and FilFire is quickly filling the entire are in black flames. He charges towards FilFire, creating a horizontal rain of rocks flying towards FilFire, but the black flames removes all of them before they touch him. Ryu covers himself in black flames as they clash, the flames going everywhere. The way this is going the entire area would be destroyed, enchantments or no enchantments. As FilFire and Ryu both jump back for a bit FilFire raises both claws and a black runic circle appears in front of them.

"Black pillar of the world destroyer."

Out of the runic circle a pillar of black flames bursts forward towards Ryu, who quickly jumps into the air and uses his wings to stay up.

"You never learn that using such a technique on one target isn't very useful do you? The fact that it removes mountain ranges from the map doesn't mean anything if you aren't sure of hitting your target!"

FilFire roars at him and releases the pillar, then jumps upwards towards Ryu. They start fighting in the air, both trying to smash the other one into the ground.

Hindrance's Residence

As the fight continues and the area continues to fill with fire, Reshaya decides she is going to need to stop the spread and relying on FilFire's blood begins to draw the flames into herself. Using magic from other elements as well as the power from the source of the lockdown she manages to ferry to fires into an empty plane of existence. As she continues the control gem glows blue meaning it was recording the fight. Reshaya tried to cover up the gem so that it wouldn't be able to look in on the fight, but her due to the concentration required to ferry the flames she had couldn't keep up with both tasks and decided to abandon trying to stop the recording in favor to keeping the flames from consuming everything.

Hindrance's Residence

FilFire and Ryu continue to fight, not taking notice of what Reshaya is doing. In the end FilFire grabs Ryu's tail, spins around a couple of times and smashes Ryu into the floor hard enough that he makes a hole. He dives towards him when he notices a blue glow. Seeing the control gem he forgets about Ryu and charges towards it. His mind is now blank, he's completely acting on instinct and rage. The orange flame marks disappear from his back and his eyes turn black. He roars at the control gem.

"Stop pestering Reshaya! You pests will be gone in the blink of an eye anyway, you're insignificant! I SHALL DESTROY YOU ALL!"

Ryu bursts from the hole in the ground.

"Great, he's going to try and destroy the control gem. I have no idea what the effect will be on Reshaya, but I'm pretty sure this isn't a good idea."

He starts gathering energy. Out of the surroundings energy gathers in between his claws, while all magical things start disintegrating as the energy used to power them gets pulled away into the orb Ryu's forming. He grits his fangs when his own energy starts being gathered too, since he hasn't had the time to prepare for doing this. FilFire ignores it as the black flames he's emitting partially get absorbed by what Ryu's doing and his own energy also starts getting pulled in. He is completely focused on the control gem, and the pure madness, rage and chaos in his glare should have shattered the gem into innumerable pieces already. Ryu's technique relentlessly keeps gathering all the energy there is in the area of effect. He just hopes Reshaya won't be too badly affected by this.
