Also it doesn't push the lane. Pushing the lane is [usually] a bad idea.

Play a game, last hit, and look at your gold at 10 minutes. Play another, don't last hit, look at your gold at 10 minutes.

Every autoattack or spell you used to hit a creep could be used on an enemy champion instead.

All about the money and EXP. Watch a game sometime where the players who know how to farm minions and monsters fight those who don't - the difference is rather dramatic. And often rather short and one-sided.

If you out-CS your lane opponent by 20, you have essentially killed them once, and they don't even know it. It adds up fast.

No matter what their farm and kills, bots will always accumulate the same amount of gold at the same rate. This is done to alleviate pressure on newer players that haven't mastered the game, and to ensure experienced players don't automatically steam roll them.

The bots are buying items faster than you because you don't know what you are doing yet. They do not earn ANY gold from assists, minions, objectives or kills.
