I stumbled across this thread while prowling around the forums out of boredom.
I am not one for lore. I'm not one for drama. I play this game to fight people and have fun, and that's what I do. I've never even read Viktor's lore, and the only times I've read lore are when I'm waiting for friends to get ready for a premade due to boredom.
I bothered to read Jayce's lore expecting this thread to be a good time-killer because someone's favorite champion was going to be a bit less dignified - yea yea, nobody cares. After reading the two paragraphs, I burst out laughing. I'm amazed Riot would produce something so bad. Meanwhile in champion design, people are giving incredible suggestions of lore and dynamic kits which could be revolutionary for the game.
Yet, they release what is to be another tanky-dps/caster, which is already a bore and making me uninterested, and give him probably the single most boring, thoughtless, and probably bull**** story I've ever seen, while destroying a more well-written and interesting story of another.
I'm not passionate about either's lores, but the quality coming from Riot. There is no excuse here.
