like i already said, the show isn't about love and tolerance at all, in no way does the show endorse that, "Friendship is magic" is literally about the power of friendship and having people to rely on, along with some other nice life lessons. Its something some people in the community thought up, fans of anything have any and all rights to protect themselves against prejudice and bigotry, whether or not they do it in a particular rude/mean fasion is their choice

There are always going to be close-minded people in the world, and nothing you can say to them (especially online) is going to change the way they feel about something.

Petty insults aren't going to stop bronies from watching MLP or posting pony pictures.
Level-headed reasoning isn't going to make those people suddenly stop hating on bronies.

Best to save the effort and just pretend those comments aren't there.
