The solution has been out for a while now: plug headphones/speakers into computer and youre set!

Ya nothing helps. Even with the headphones. Can join games, no one can see my chat though. But ultimately can not start a game myself.

just plug in ur headphones or speakers and relog it will probably work. Funny part is that you need to have those to play LOL.

Well that didn't work. Also the headphones didn't work.

Whats weird is I can watch games, but if I try to start I get stonewalled at the choices and if I have a freind start a game I get a blackscreen on champ selection.

So I have no idea.
