This may come off as a little strange however because Nunu has seen a lot more support play and I like to play nunu vayne cause when I play vayne the number one thing she lacks is Attack speed early on. So playing a few games with this combo I forgot that Recurve bow existed...

I've started to REALLY like vayne + nunu + recurve bow/AD early on. Its viability is insane, just max W and its great..

HOWEVER.. Recurve bow doesn't have an optimal hardcore ADC setting, one could offer that madreds bloodrazor is optimal however its only viable if enemy team has a couple of champs with like 3k hp and low end MR (less than 100, sure support could get abyssal but... really? lol)


So RIOT! wanna help break bt/ie/pd/lw meta?

Make recurve bow turn into an optimal item for ADC role.

few idea's about items.

1. Noxian Bow
formula: recurve bow + brutalizer + gold.
Stats:
50% increased attack speed
30 increased attack damage
20$ reduced cooldowns on spells

Active, poison a target decreasing their armor value by 35% of your bonus AD for 4 seconds.

This item would be very valuable when A SINGLE enemy has over 300 armor and lw isn't gonna cut it, and you need to help kill them.


2. Piltover Bow

formula: recurve bow, zeal

stats:

60% increased attack speed
20% crit chance

Unique passive: upon killing an enemy champion you gain 20 move speed for 3 seconds.

3. Demacian Bow

formula: recurve bow, bf sword

stats:

+50 attack damage
+40% attack speed

Unique passive: Killing a champion temporarily increases your attack damage by 20 for 4 seconds.

No matter what buffs or nerfs Riot gives to items, AD carries will still use whatever gives them the highest DPS, in this case, Infinity Edge+Phantom Dancer+Last Whisper+The Bloodthirster. If Riot buffs recurve bow, then every AD carry will use IE+PD+LW+Recurve Bow instead, no difference. It's the same effect as the Black Cleaver. BC is by far and away the 5th best AD carry item in the game, and barely even worse than LW and BT. However, the fact is that it still provides lower DPS endgame, however low that may be, than the last 2 items, so nobody ever gets it except for special situations. If Recurve Bow gave a higher DPS, whether it be stats or a good passive ability, than one of those 4 items, then that 4th item would never be seen again.

Perhaps a way to fix this is to make some DFG or Randuin type items for AD carries: an item that gives lower DPS than IE+PD+LW+BT, but has a great active effect that makes it viable.

im not suggesting to make it ie, pd, bt, lw, rb...

im suggesting to make it something more like ie, bt, lw, new item made from recurve bow. offer crit/attack speed/damage or something around that. not offering ms cause pd offers ms. make it more of a hyper ad carry item without mobility.

1. Noxian's Bow: A CDR item that Ranged Carry definitely want >>>> Overpowered >>>> No.

2. Piltover Bow: Crappy passive compare to PD >>> You got to make it real cheaper than PD to attract ppl buying that and skip PD >>>> Doubtful.

3. Demacian Bow: AD + AS >>> Much crappier than Black Cleaver >>> (Just copy 2.)

The real problem lies on Phantom Dancer. It is too compact. Highest AS + Highest Crit Chance + Big MS Boost All in one. That is the problem we need to solve, and it can hardly go away just by adding new items.
