I know that its an infrastructure thing.. But, YOU SHOULDN'T put the latino american servers in CHILE. ¿why? because only chileans will play it.
The .net conection of Chile is good, but only for them.
what i mean? they have low pings in argentina, brazil, etc. BUT the problem is that, ARGENTINA, BRAZIL, URUGUAY, paraguay, bolivia, DO NOT HAVE low pings in chile.
I think you should put the server in Argentina, because all the neighbor countries will have low ping.
Just saying, i know that im a simple guy that wont change anything..
But, if you put the servers in chile, only chileans will play it. (THAT'S NOT THE IDEA)

Sé que es una cosa de infraestructura .. Sin embargo, NO DEBEN poner los servidores americanos latinos en CHILE. ¿Por qué? porque sólo chilenos podran jugar.
La conexión.de internet de Chile es buena, pero sólo para ellos.
¿que quiero decir? tienen pings bajos en Argentina, Brasil, etc, pero el problema es que, ARGENTINA, BRASIL, URUGUAY, Paraguay, Bolivia, no tienen pings bajos en Chile.
Creo que deberían poner el servidor en Argentina, debido a que todos los países vecinos tendrán ping bajo.
Simplemente digo..., sé que soy "nadie" que no cambiará nada ..
Pero, si ustedes ponen los servidores en Chile, sólo los chilenos podran jugar. (QUE NO ES LA IDEA)

What different is there if they put the servers in Chile or Argentina, both countries have the same length and it really won't change ping issues. That is unless you're Argentinian and thus biased, even then 10 ping difference won't matter.

Also where's the announcement of where the servers will be located?

In the end, this isn't even the right place to post stuff like this.

el problema con argentina son sus políticas económicas (expropiaciones, sobornos, fraude etc), creo que para RIOT en ningún caso es un buen lugar para poner un server y dudo mucho que lo hagan con la situación político económica actual. Alternativas mil veces mejores son Chile, Perú, Uruguay pero por ningún motivo argentina. Con esto no quiero insultar a las personas de nacionalidad Argentina ni nada, tengo amigos con los que juego y todos y ellos mismos comparten esta opinión.

Going to have to agree with wagons on this one, and is there somewhere to show where the Servers are located..? Because i thought they didn't give out that information.

The problem is the route that ours ISP take on the region. We can have a ****ty ping with Chile, but Chile can get a better ping when they connect to an Argentinian server.

I've seen people playing from Chile on Argentinian servers on different games, and sometimes they have a better ping than i do ^^

even when it sounds stupid, ping is not only based on distance
ISP and some other things like ip tables and routes makes a lot of diference
in latency and some other issues.
basically Argentina ISP have better infrastructure than Chile's ones

Pues yo creo que deberian poner el server en un punto medio.. y olvidarse de los dos servers ..la verdad es que nose, se me hace feo estar dividida .. por que yo tengo muchos amigos chilenos que juegan esto o amigos del peru.. y el que yo me conecte en otro punto diferentes al de ellos se me hace feo. tal vez solo me guie por lo sentimental.. pero viendolo por otra parte seria una perdida de dinero poner dos servers. por que no uno en medio ? en ecuador que se yo ?

Someone just said that people in Chile can have better pings than Argentinians in Argentinian servers, if thats true, its only cause Argentinian ISP are awfull. If your ISP is amazing you shouldnt have any trouble connecting to a Chilean server.
