Reverting him is the best course of action and then simply take some of the minor buffs he got from the rework back with him.

For starters, revert the way all of his abilities work except his Q. Being able to use his Q without fury/bloodlust does actually help his lane. And healing for 400 at rank 9 bloodlust pre-rework would be a little too good in the current setting, so we can leave his healing numbers at 300.

Also his removal of health costs on E/W should remain, this helped him significantly in trades in the lane, believe it or not.

With the return of his synergy on his 2 passives and his critical damage, then maintain his current Q healing mechanics he'd be a lot better off then he is now. not to mention they really stripped his early power when they reduced his AD/hp regen by a really large amount.

personally i dont play trynd in ranked or 5v5 anymore but he is still a lot of fun in 3v3s. i would like to see him reworked a little bit, maybe replace his chicken with a cc debuff. but if he is buffed then the threads will be expolding with tryn qq threads.

also, he is viable if you build a qss on him to remove the cc or just use cleanse sumonerspell. i just find that other champions are more fun than right click, thwak thwak thawk, spin, thawk thawk, chicken, thack thawk, hit r, thwack thwack thawck, "champion 'x' killed" spin away, heal

rinse and repeat... its kinda boring

I like what Riot did with the fury mechanic but this champion needs some attention to get it to be at least a viable selection again. Maybe they are extra sensitive to the qq since the president goes by Tryndamere. Riot needs to focus on the numbers and buff champs that have little or no playability in competitive games. Tryndamere is not the only champ that needs help but it would be a good place to start.

give him back his crit dmg increase instead of the crit chance he has now. that was what made him trynd. that heavy hitting crit

most of the time, it's the elo-hellers and pre-30s QQ that ruin the game gameplay and champs
quite interesting to see a couple of votes on "nerf him" as well considering how weak he is already

He needs a rework but I'm worried that will ruin his "feel".

In a game were you're essentially discouraged in pushing your lane Tryn's fury system is completely out of tune.

I never really play with or against tryndameres, so note that I'm really not experienced with him, but I do understand his chain CC flaw. However, wouldn't buying merc treads, quicksilver sash and/or cleanse and/or banshee's veil fix this? Even if they focus you and do Tons of Damage, wouldn't you be able to cleanse out of the CC and use the 5 seconds of freedom to counter them? Not to mention that during the time they're focusing you, the rest of the team has free time to attack them. Like I said, I havent really seen people do this, but it seems like it would work.

The problem with Tryndamere I fear is that if he gets buffed in any way shape or form he'll become the undying champion again. IE: Unkillable and when you finally get a shot a killing him he ults.
And reworking won't work either due to the semi-unique manner in which tryn works(you just can't rework him without a total overhaul and demolishing what made him what he is), and the ammount of rage you'd get from Tryn players.

Other than that Tryn seems to have been shoved from the one that can rush in and destroy everyone to a more supportive role of him being a CC spunge for the team, I mean you'd rather have Tryn take CC in a teamfight than have your biggest damage source take the same CC, because he has less chance to survive than tryn has. And he will get CCed because if they don't CC him they'll be very regretfull for not doing it.
