I have had some problems with LoL in the past like year or so. It all started when I moved to my grandparent's house. We got Verizon internet and router. Ever since then I have been having to wait to connect to the actual LoL games. It sits there with the "League of Legends" logo, not actually going to the loading screen. Then after approximately 30 seconds, it gives me the option to "retry" to connect. So I press that, nothing happens. So I wait another 30 seconds, then it works.

I finally made my peace with that. But then a month or two ago, with that patch that took almost 2 full days to fix up, and caused some people to lose their rune pages, I have been having even more problems. With the patch on 8/8 (I think), it has gone to the worst state yet.

-My pvp.net client is constantly telling me I have DC'd and will sometimes not take me to champ select, while everyone else is in it.

-After champ select, half the time I will get either a black screen, with only some of my pvp.net UI left. OR the champ select interface wont go away.

-When a game is completed, I almost always can not load the stats, or the game wont reopen.

-After Dominion games start, approx 1/3 of the time, I get a bugsplat at the beginning.

-I get "lag" during games even though my FPS (constant 60 +/- 5) and ping (normally 40-60) are fine. I also have no packet loss. But it just makes me sit there for about 3-5 seconds, but I can see everyone else in real time, killing me.

Anyways, my friends and I saw that another person took just as long as me to connect. This person has the same "retry" twice to connect problem. He also said he has Verizon. I hardly ever meet other people with this problem, and can't seem to find help on the LoL forums, so I don't have anything to back this up, but maybe it could be Verizon?
But if nothing else, at least I got these problems down on a list. Perhaps someone could shed some light on these problems? Plz plz? = )

I have used guides to open all the ports required for the game to work, as well as "repairing" the game. Have tried reinstalling, running as admin, turning off the firewall completely.

They're known, they've been around and they're the products of shoddy coding when this game was first designed. With each new patch with more content more bugs surface and Riot just slaps on another band aid without actually fixing anything. You can only do so much with band 0aids though and its starting to show.

Does any1 have any thoughts on these? It's gotten to the point where I can hardly even play the game. Over the past 3 years I have spent probly $300, and am totally addicted,

Would really appreciate Riot's help. I realize that this is a forum for "players helping players", but I have spent hundreds of dollars on the game, and have been a player for 3 years. I feel that I deserve some sort of help. I also realize that it doesn't matter that I spent money, and that I have no preference over other players for help, I understand that. I am just begging for possible solutions, as I am addicted to the game ><

Bug splats are rare and a sign of severe conflict with hardware or software. The other issues you are describing ring of internet connection issues.

The place to start would be by running this test, http://netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/, and posting the results URL. As well as attaching a DxDiag to the forums so we can see your system. https://support.leagueoflegends.com/...stic-or-dxdiag

The largest standout is your internet connection.

DNS is a little off, but the bigger issue is your network buffering, specifically our uplink buffer. Your uplink speed is fairly slow, and the buffer is massive. In your case it is 2900ms, which is huge, buffers in general are bad, large ones are worse.

The way a buffer works is when you send data, or receive, instead of going directly to or coming directly from the source it gets held up at your ISP. Once your buffer is full, then the data is sent out, causing latency.

Your downlink buffer is a little large, but the main concern is that uplink. Riot is sitting and waiting for a reply from you, but they aren't getting it. You are sending data out, and instead of making the trip to Riot in the expected time, it gets held up at your ISP until that buffer is full, then sent. Because of how long this takes, Riot just assumes you aren't connected and dumps the contact.

Anything 300ms of latency and under is generally playable, now add on top of that your 2900ms, roughly, and things don't look good. The only way to resolve this is to contact your ISP and have them greatly lower or remove the buffer. Typically an ISP will enable buffers on a network that is heavily loaded and over capacity.

Yo, here's my ICSI Netalyzr test results:

Looks like I got the same "buffer" problem. How do I get rid of this issue?

Called Verizon and they said everything looked fine. Plus, I played Guild Wars 2 for two hours today. Not only is that game under stress testing, so it should be unstable, but it is a new, HIGH hardware requirement game. I got absolutely no lag. Yet, I come on LoL and I get lag often... Plus, everyone just started getting these problems on the Diana patch. So, I have a feeling it isn't my internet, honestly.

I appreciate your help though, thanks for taking your time.
