A small update on the project folks. I've started working on proper music for the game now. I was considering having the Normal themes for the areas without Drums and the Void variants of them with them, but I'm not sure how well that'd sound.
Gameplay wise there are a few systems I'd like to put in place. There are two "scores" in the game, Influence and Research Points. By gathering enough of these, you should be able to upgrade certain aspects or abilities that you have (for example, Influence Points will work to equipment, such as Boots of Swiftness, whereas Research Points will work to boosting your skills and other non-equipment based upgrades, such as a Double Null Sphere Combo, etc).
By the way, I'm not sure if this was clear but in the engine you can charge the Nether Blade up three times, It'll cost more Mana for each charge though (hit the spell button again after previously casting it to charge it up further).
