{{ Heroic Crisis }}
The light of the gate rained down brilliantly above the trio. They have been in such ambient darkness for so long it has been a bit of time since they have seen the outside once more. The lift stopped once the platform leveled with the rest of the floor, or more specifically the roof of the entire factory complex. The orange-brown sky and dark clouds overhead imitated poorly a robust and harsh environment, the air smelled foul of technology and death. The large roof was very flat, almost like a staging area-
"Ah, you made it~! I was wondering how many of you would have survived...how delightful that all of you would have avoided death!"
Speakers lining the metal plates on the ground called out in the trecherous Professor's voice, a constant reminder of a being that should be terminated, but no where in sight-
"Where are you? Show yourself coward!!"
Glass called out, his eyes not picking up the Voidborn anywhere nearby. However, tremors of machinary beneath them rumble constantly-
"Ah, but patience is a virtue...perhaps if your little lizard friend knew that he wouldn't have suffered his fate..."
Before they could respond suddenly large plates about 30 yards away opened up, and something large...and imposing was elevated upwards. White and Dark metal with a single red eye lit up as a foreign machine none of them have seen before appeared. It's right arm carried what looked to be a huge cannon, with a machine gun strapped on top of it. The left arm held nothing but under it was an odd device with hooks and claws. White plates covered dark pipes that seemed to be like bionic tendrils. Lights of blue, green and red coat the entire machine-

"He was rather brash, attacking me while I was admiring this wonderful creation. However, what he didn't know was the remote feature I put in. So, naturally, I had it grab him, crushing his body quite a bit before tossing him down an almost endless shaft to his death. Insects should be squashed no~?"
The Professor cackled from within his own machine-
"But why bother with such a lame subject? You are all about to undergo the first field test of my latest machine, my VoidMech Version 1. It carries the same ordinances as my beloved Apocalypse Cannon, in now portable form! Why would one wage war in such a bulky fortress when in maybe a couple dozen years I could make an armada of THESE!?"
