So, recently after the Sydnra patch I have been having constant ping issues whilst playing LoL. I have never had a stable connection of 300 ping, ever, and even though I am an Australian player on the NA servers my ping has always been around the 180-200 mark. To clarify a few things ;

I am not capped
Nobody is using my internet
I have no programs open that would disrupt my internet connection with LoL

I have also used BattlePing which worked excellently, it set my ping to 180 which was amazing but seeing as it was only a trial, it lasted 20 minutes and then disconnected me in-game forcing my ping to go back to 300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you require additional information, please let me know.

I'm having the exact same problem. It's really getting on my nerves and I can't play with this sort of ping.

EDIT: It seems we're both from Brisbane and we both use Optus, but I'm not sure how that would be related to this. I tested to other servers and the ping was fine but it was only to the LA/LoL servers that I'm getting this ridiculous ping. I also called Optus and they said there was nothing wrong on their end.

Melbourne, iinet. Also with lag spikes tonight.

But judging that everyone in the last game I had was also getting horrible lag issues, any lag today might be a riot server problem.

I think i MAY have the same issue...

My problem is that i'll start a match and loading screen will say 220 ping. The entire match, ill stay at 220 ping.

Match finishes and i start another... Loading screen on the next match says 270 ping, i'll stay at 270 the entire match.

TLDR: My ping fluctuates per match and its annoying as ****.

I'm from New Zealand, but I've been getting up to 8k ping spikes. I'm not sure if this is because of my internet, or because it's on Riot's end because they hate sheep and kangaroos.

This problem is getting extremely irritating. I can't even play champions properly with this ping...

We need a fix and fast. This sort of service is really putting me off LoL.

Judging from the amount of similar issues that hundreds of people have posted about, I've come to the conclusion that Riot just cbf'd with us.
