So I've been wanting to trying doing a jungle champ. Lately I've been playing jarvan IV and have seen multiple videos of him jungling. Problem is when I try to jungle I always seem to die way quicker than the champs i watch videos of (and sometimes embarrassingly die while jungling). I'm just trying to figure out why this is? plz help someone!

You're only level 23. Having full masteries and full runes makes a huge difference for jungling, and you can't get tier 3 runes until level 30.

See above post. He's wrong about the runes though. Tier 3 runes are available at summoner level 20.

Jarvan is really dependent on runes not only to survive the jungle, but to actually make an impact in the jungle.

jarvan is a good jungle though if you can learn him. When he throws down his flag and then essentially flashes towards it and then ults its basically a secured kill on a gank.
