I have been jamming this beast for a while now and he is OP as hell, relatively easy and is a rampant anger fueled monstrosity who can make a 3 people run from 1.

Currently I run, AS reds, Arpen Quints, Armor yellows and MR per lvl blues. (for both top and jungle)

I am wondering if crit damage runes are really worth it?

I mean for just the crit damage reds and quints it cost around 15000 IP. which anyone knows is a hell of alot. whethere u are 20-0 everygame or not, it is a huge investment into runes that you probably wont use for more than 2-3 heroes.

So my question is, anyone who has compared them on TRYN specifically, are they worth the copious amounts of IP?

I run on his crit and crit dmg runes. Works like charm for me. Tryndamere is not recommended for jungle. He is more of a solo top carry.

Before, I used to have atk speed w blues as CD runes, which was working fine as well.

Depends on how you play, because different runes, change the early game for you. I'd rather stack crit/crit dmg over MR and APen.

I am usually fairly passive until 6 unless they are being dumb. I guess that calls for more mid-late game runes.

i think its strong and sorta viable. but it depends on you your preference. if you like to build more critical, double your fury up and deal heavy damage on enemies in early then crit chance. but if you want more damage output and pretty much survive ad bruisers. then its armor pene and some defensive runes are good for that. but make you have a few defense runes when your gonna go crit chance.

Get all AD runes instead of Crit Damage runes BECAUSE... at early game trynda is kinda underpowered so you wont be hitting crits that easily and since crits are based off of your AD, it would be better to get AD runes rather than CD. plus masteries and IE give you 260% CD sooo why bother.

PS... Best build = 4 Blood thirsters 1 IE and 1 Phantom Dancer 600 AD. PLus Baron = OP

Crit runes should only come after arpen runes, and even then, they're not worth it anymore on Tryn. After Riot took away his bonus crit damage, it just killed the point (to be able to pull 3x damage per hit).

However, Tryn like Mord has fallen the way of the nerf-hammer, imo, and therefore I won't comment anymore on this.

After that you can put anything really so long as it's all offense related. I'm not a fan of crit runes as he easilly gets to 100% already and crits aren't that necessary until you got your IE and by then you'll already be at 100% all the time.
