To stop this 'he looked at the mini-map' stuff I suggest doing what already works. One of the most prominent leagues in the world for StarCraft 2 the GSL has the solution, player booths.

They would have to be larger to accommodate 5 people but the idea is the same. Large sound proof booths. This way it is impossible to cheat.
