Suggestion: Have an option to make your OWN hp bar a different colour.
Purple, Yellow, Blue, Red etc

Result: Make it easier to differentiate your health in the fray of a teamfight.

To be honest, sometimes in the clutter of battle, it is hard to separate your HP from a teammates.

I Think it is a simple, and pretty good alteration that could help improve play-quality.

I actually came onto the forums today to make this very same suggestion.

Im not the best player. im older my reflexs are super fast and my eye sight is pretty bad. Countless games ive lost track of which character is mine in crazy team fights. Which typically results in making a bad play.

A simple hud change so your own character's life bar or its border were a different colour from your team-mates would be incredibly helpful. I honestly think this would help so many players especially new users and people with poor eye sight.

I think the real problem here is the health bars overlapping and causing problems. I myself have trouble last hitting on occasion when the lower health minions hp bar is overlapped by a full health one. I think if they just improved how the hp bars overlap or added some measure of transparency to the hp bars somehow that it would erase the need for any sort of coloration to the hp bars.

This is already possibly by modifying some configuration files.
