I think turning it into a shrine really opens up the viable team comps/item builds that you can bring to the new Twisted Treeline. On old TT you had to have someone that could kill neutral creeps well to maintain good buff control like Nunu/Cho or someone with atk speed and madreds/wriggles. Removing the necessity of killing neutral creeps (While it is still viable as a source of revenue while having two solo lanes) opens up the game to a larger variety of characters.
Then why did they leave a wriggles proc on the new lantern, and then say they dont want people to itemize for jungle and then put alters in the jungle we have to defend and then remove sight wards to use for defense and then add a bigger badder jungle boss that everyone can see you approach causing the first team to go after it to almost ALWAYS lose unless they are already far ahead? They say they want a faster paced game while making it unsafe to go out from your tower to farm? Next they increased the walls so Lee Sin and Shy can still **** peoples days up but Cait, Ez, Shaco (the squishy of the mobile champs) can't use their blink to gank or escape?
It makes no sense to me dude, really. It's all counter productive to itself
