Hi guys, I was in the mood to start a PvP arena game so I looked around for a good one. I used to play Rakion a few years ago and in my opinion it really had the best concept for gameplay. I am really sad that Rakion is now run by hackers and players who abuse the cash system with over-powered item. Rakion is now literally pay to win. I found a new game that is releasing it's closed beta in a month or two called SMITE, looks amazing. It looks like Hi-Rez took the concept Rakion was playing with and truly made it shine to its full potential.

In the meantime I found a game called Bloodline Champions that seems pretty fun. I know that there are some that are probably going to think of League of Legends when they see games like SMITE and Bloodline Champions, but I think you should really give new games entering the MOBA genre a chance.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtxALCR5UzQ , http://www.bloodlinechampions.com/home.php The games here seem short so no need to commit an hour to a game like LoL, try it out if you're bored. There's probably a better community within Bloodline Champions and SMITE than LoL as well

BLC is just too much action. I can only play it for ~30 minutes until I want a "rest period".

The concept behind smite has been done before (poorly). I don't really care much for the concept. I'd probably give it a whirl if it's a free2play, but I wouldn't purchase it up front.

Rakion was actually pretty darn awesome, for what it did. I really liked that game. I ought to try it out again to see what's different. I just remember the archer class being the most overpowered one.
