I used the normal client, without any proxy or similar. I assume they must have fixed something, since the client were able to connect and download the patch today.

Players should try running the launcher normally again. Most of the issues in Europe are believed to be resolved. If you're still have problems, seeing your patcher_lib.log would be very helpful.
