I'm sure i am not the only person who plays DotA 2 as well as LoL. I have literally only played 1 match of HoN way back in the day and it burned my eyes, but was just a little curious to see the people out there that perhaps play both the games.
Personally i enjoy them both as they are both different paces. DotA 2 has a lot more technical things going on as well as a bunch more things you have to pay attention to. I also had been playing DotA for a very very long time on WC3. I also enjoy not really having a meta in that game as with any 1 hero i am never facing anybody with the thought that i can't beat them in a fight (just saying as hero matchups go). Plus i don't need to play a specific role though some would beg to differ. -ar player. Unfortunately dota 2 has gone down the road of TF2 with all the chests/keys/aesthetics etc. but that just helps the community grow i guess.
LoL on the other hand is very fun, its very enjoyable to play around with different rune setups, masteries, etc. The way the brush is setup is quite unique to the game and gives the SR it's own feel rather than just be a copy of the standard moba map. LoL also has a very large champion base, for better or for worse sometimes as i believe constant release of champions causes balancing issues for others. However, the game has come a long way since i originally started playing when i think there were only 32 champions when i first started playing the game. Only real negative thing i have to say for LoL is i personally don't like how high of a standard the meta is put upon the game. There can be so many arguments that go with it, its just that since it has become the norm, that is just what people expect it and if you have a team not a part of the meta and begin to lose at any extent regardless of the reason why, its because you aren't the meta. Just puts bad taste in muh mouf.
Once again just checking to see people playing 2 great games which both get high praise in my book.
PS: anybody watch any of the DotA top 10 clips? they have some really good plays in there sometimes. I was kinda skimming through for some LoL top plays and i see the top 5, idk if its because there is an announcer and not music, just doesn't seem quite as epic i guess.
