I'm assuming by the comment about (AD) carry AOE damage, that Tiamat is getting reworked into something usable?
What new options will AS/AP characters like Kayle, Lulu, and others have?

Bring back Sword of the Divine.
That was an AD caster item that did not need to be removed.

I realize we don't have much information yet about what you guys have planned but this scares me a bit. How do you make sure that an item granting additional CC capabilities won't be abused by champions that already have tons of cc?

I like what I'm hearing. I do have a question though about AP casters who don't have mana. Heroes like Akali, Kennen, etc have pretty much the same 4 items they can buy because everything else involves having mana (Rylais, Guinsoos, etc). Will there be any changes in terms of items for heroes who don't use mana?

Very excited to see where this goes. The current item system is a bit of a weak spot in League, IMO, so here's hoping for some strong improvement.
