Theoretically, you could do an really inefficient late game build with AAA / Manamune and a Tears and be able to fully charge tears 3 times - but at a certain point, buying Rod of Ages or Frozen Heart might be better for this case.

once again i lost faith to riot. completly op item. what's the point of rod of age now ? less mana, less ap, less mana regen, and also less hp compared to the hp shield.

just gg seriously, so you're gonna nerf weak-balanced item like fon, but make stronger item than already strong rod of age -.-.
completly unbelievable, s3 look like a big mess for me, but its just my opinion and i hope im wrong.

That is an awesome new mechanic! Thanks for keeping the game fresh.

Just a question: Are there any more items that "transform" after reaching certain cap? Morello hinted at a Manamune version, and maybe there will be changes to SotO, Leviathan's and Mejai's?
