i played a lot of viktor.. was at gold with 70% win rate viktor out of 50 total games ish.. trick is rylais and death augument

^ rylais? Ive stopped building that a while ago. Maybe I should try it out again

if you have the hit the laser on anyone, slows for roughly 6-7 seconds due to the passive, perfect for team to engage on or placing your magnetic field. another trick: get augument death fast, deathcap, you can clear wave with one laser if you hit everything

Your ult slows the enemies every spin.

2 rings, and death augment were what I picked.
Allowed me to clear waaves with one laser.
Rings gave me some health and mana regen.

Depending on how the match is going.
Probably get Death cap or Unholy grail. Usually deathcap then rush unholy grail.
Then hourglass after those.

So I have decent hp, decent armor, decent Mr.
Great damage. Nice mana sustain. And final item of course would be Void.

IMO it seems like the best build over all.
I use to throw in a DFG but not anymore. It was great IMO. CDR which was great and gave you an extra burst since your Cd's are pretty high.

But, the lost of CDR I just got rid of it on my build.

You don't even need deathcap that early.
Two rings, boots, and Death Augment was enough to clear waves with one laser.

Heck, early in you probably don't even need the two rings.
But, his mana is a pain to deal with and he is slightly squishy early in so two rings is helpful.

viktorys, I usually go dc into zhonyas.. rylais as a possible 6th item.
