Souls Mechanic Every time Grolla kills an enemy minion or monster, she receives 1 Soul. Killing enemy Champions gives Grolla 3 Souls, while assists give her 2 Souls. Whenever Grolla uses a basic ability, she consumes a Soul if she has one, enhancing its effect. If Grolla has 0 Souls for 8 seconds (0-1 Souls for 6 seconds if she has the Seyfarth Soul Gem), she receives an extra Soul (she receives up to 2 if she has the Seyfarth Soul Gem). Grolla can hold a maximum of 5 Souls at a time (6 if she has the Seyfarth Soul Gem). P - Grollschwert’s Hunger: Grolla gains +4/6/8/10/12 bonus attack damage for 3.5 seconds each time she lands a basic attack. Striking Champions will cause this effect to stack up to 5 times. (increases at levels 4, 8, 12, 16 respectively) Q - Soul Rend: Grolla’s next basic attack splashes, dealing physical damage to all enemies in front of her. If Grolla uses a Soul when using Soul Rend, Grolla is healed for a percentage of all damage dealt by the attack. This healing is half as effective against minions and monsters. Resets attack timer. Applies on-hit effects to the primary target only. 9/8/7/6/5 second cooldown. W - Shroud of Death: Grolla is surrounded by dark flames for 4 seconds, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies each second. If Grolla uses a Soul when casting Shroud of Death, she will also shield herself with dark power, absorbing incoming damage for 4 seconds. Shroud of Death’s damage and shield strength will be increased by 1% for every 1% of Grolla’s missing health. 12 second cooldown. E - Grudge: Grolla gains increased attack speed and movement speed for 3 seconds. If Grolla uses a Soul when casting Grudge, she also gains lifesteal and spell vamp for 3 seconds. Each auto attack extends the duration of Grudge by 1 second up to a maximum of 4 extra seconds. 15 second cooldown. R - Demon’s Wrath: Grolla consumes all of her Souls and dashes in target direction, dealing physical damage, plus bonus magic damage for each Soul she consumed, to all enemies she passes through. For the next few seconds, Grolla becomes empowered by the Grollschwert, and all of her basic abilities function as though they were empowered by Souls, and do not consume Souls when used. 100/90/80 second cooldown. |

Grolla is a melee fighter, duelist and carry. She excels at long-term survivability and sustainability via lifestealing and shields, while also being able to dish out plenty of damage, making her lethal in 1v1 confrontations, especially if she is at low health. She also serves as a very capable jungler due to her sustains and lack of mana as a resource. Grolla uses a new mechanic known as Souls. She receives a Soul every time she kills a unit, up to a maximum of five, also replenishing a few Souls if she does not have any for an extended period of time. Every time she uses one of her basic abilities, she expends a Soul. Her abilities do not require Souls to be cast, but if used with Souls, they receive bonus effects. Grolla also has a unique, optional item she can purchase called the Seyfarth Soul Gem, which augments her mechanics. It adds bonus magic damage to her basic attacks based on her level and the number of Souls she has, and increases the maximum number of Souls she can carry by one. It also reduces the time she must spend out of combat to replenish her Souls, and causes her to replenish an extra Soul this way, letting her re-enter fights a bit more quickly. Grolla’s Soul mechanic enables her skills to be quite powerful, but when her Souls are depleted she has multiple points of vulnerability, so players must be cautious in how they use her limited Soul supply. Additionally, while Grolla has great sustainability, she does not have stellar toughness and is vulnerable to burst attacks. |

Grolla can hold a maximum of 5 Souls at a time (6 if she has the Seyfarth Soul Gem). NOTES: Grolla will begin generating a new Soul(s) if she has no Souls. The timer cancels if she gains a Soul before it finishes. Grolla respawns with 5 Souls (6 if she has the Seyfarth Soul Gem), and starts a match with 5 Souls. (Questions surrounding this new mechanic will be appreciated.) |

Demon’s Wrath (ultimate) Grolla consumes all of her Souls and dashes in target direction, dealing physical damage, plus bonus magic damage for each Soul she consumed, to all enemies she passes through. For the next few seconds, Grolla becomes empowered by the Grollschwert, and all of her basic abilities function as though they were empowered by Souls, and do not consume Souls when used. Higher levels increase the damage, increase the bonus magic damage, increase the empowered duration, and reduce the cooldown. Hotkey: R Range: 700 Width: 175? Playing as Grolla - You must kill enemies to obtain a healthy supply of Souls, so time those last-hits! - Triggering Shroud of Death when at low health can be useful in making an enemy overcommit to killing you. - Try to always save a Soul for use with Grudge, as the lifesteal and spell vamp are vital. Playing against Grolla - Without her ultimate, Grolla is relatively easy to kite and cannot easily threaten others who keep their distance from her. - If Grolla runs out of Souls, she loses a large amount of survivability. Prevent her from gaining a large supply of Souls to make her easier to kill. - Be very careful about fighting a low health Grolla, as Shroud of Death can make her extremely hard to kill. |

Grolla Seyfarth - Rosenkreuzstilette This Grolla is basically an expy of Grolla from RKS, to be honest. However, RKS itself is a fan-made game based off the Megaman series. Grolla herself is somewhat an expy of Zero from the Megaman Zero series, and she comes off as quite the badass. ![]() Frostmourne - Warcraft series The horrific blade of the Lich King served as a good source of inspiration for the lore behind my Grolla. It is a blade empowered to steal souls, and grants its wielder terrible power, but carries the eternal curse of undeath with it. The Grollschwert, Grolla's blade, has a similar background. |

Race: Human (possessed) Nationality: Noxian Age: 18-19 Occupation: Warrior, Mass Murderer Affiliation: Self Background (rough; probably will improve later) The former heiress of the noble Seyfarth family in Noxus, Grolla Seyfarth has become a ruthless murderer following the downfall of her clan. Wielding the cursed sword Grollschwert, she has become a threat to all around her, possessed by the very blade she wields. Every foe slain by her blade feeds an unnatural hunger, not for blood, but for the very souls of mortal kind. Most of all, she hungers for the soul of the man who rules Noxus: Jericho Swain. When Swain’s regime took control of Noxus, many noble families loyal to the former ruler Boram Darkwill were ousted or otherwise slaughtered. The Seyfarths, a proud family of Noxian warriors, were one such family to face the slaughter, with Grolla being the only survivor. Desperate for revenge, Grolla journeyed to the Seyfarth family’s tomb where an ancient greatsword, the Grollschwert, was rumored to rest, sealed away by the spirits of her ancestors. Ignoring the warnings from her departed ancestors of the sword’s evil power, Grolla found the Grollschwert and removed it from its sealed bindings. But upon grasping the black blade, she paid a terrible price for her actions as her soul was stolen by the sword’s curse. Emerging from the tomb, Grolla was confronted by a task force led by Darius, the Hand of Noxus, who sought her head. When they looked upon her, however, the sight of her glowing, empty eyes chilled them to the bone. Grolla was merciless, cutting through the Noxian elites like a scythe to chaff, leaving only eviscerated remains of her foes as her blade harvested their souls to feed its hunger. She allowed Darius to live, albeit wounded, to inform Swain that she would eventually come for him, and that his soul would belong to the Grollschwert in time. This blade has claimed countless souls, including my own. I will make do without one. – Grolla Random Trivia - Grolla's name is derived from the German word "Groll", which means "grudge". - The Grollschwert was found in the Shadow Isles by Grolla's ancestors nearly 500 years prior to the League's formation. Grolla's ancestors coveted the blade for the great power it offered but, upon discovering its curse, placed it within the family's tomb. Grolla's family line vowed to keep the blade from mortal hands, but Grolla has broken the tradition. - Grolla absolutely hates Swain for his role in her family's destruction, and seeks to feed the Grollschwert with his soul. Quotes -Ideal Voice Actor: April Stewart (Selvaria Bles from Valkyria Chronicles) Selection Grollschwert shall feed! Movement Grollschwert hungers... I know the price. I will have my revenge. The blade speaks to me. Attacking The harvest begins... They rush to their doom. Your souls are mine! Grollschwert must feed! Taunt You will beg for death before long! Your soul will feed the blade! Joke You're asking me for amusement? Fool. Ask again and you won't live to regret it! Killing Swain Feel my hate, murderer! Killing Darius I warned you before, Hand of Noxus. Death Animation Lurches back as dark spirits are released from her body. She then collapses onto her side. |
