Zed appears to be balanced heavily around the actives coming in on new AD items.

BotRK + Tiamat adds another 150 + 150% of his already multiplied total AD to his Death Mark combo through Crescent and the Bilgewater nuke, and if anything like Pillager makes it to Summoner's Rift he'll love it as well.

I'd like to see him get a little bit of QoL love along the lines of "if Death Mark will kill a target, it explodes immediately" however, but you can't win 'em all.

zed does no damage.

his Q is a skillshot

his whirly thing is situational and pointblank aoe

his ult does damage only if you do damage to that target while the mark is up, if you fail doing so, it does almost nothing.

he's so bad. can't shut down anyone in lane, can't snowball, can't aoe damage, can't zone and can't reliably cc anyone at all.

in a way Zed i much better than talon because unlike talon he does A lot of damage late game.

zed is just talon -11% winrate.
