Is guess it would get more people to buy the champions. As long as no one takes my character...its a good idea!

horrible idea balance wise, bad idea fun wise

Bob sat down to play League of Legends, a new game he was having quite a bit of fun with. He had just recently saved up enough to buy a hero he had had quite a bit of fun with when he was free during the week, Alistar, and was eager to try out his new, permanent, hero.

After clicking play now, he clicked on Alistar near immediately. "Sorry, this champion is already in this game. Please pick another."

Hmm, Bob thought. Someone on the other team had picked Alistar? But he didn't seem like that popular of a hero. Wait! Bob exclaimed in his head, pounding his fist in his hand. Wasn't there a new Alistar item build that was doing pretty well? He must of exploded in popularity then...

With a sigh, Bob double clicked on Warwick, his second favorite hero. "Sorry, this champion is already in this game." ... Ashe? "Sorry." Nodding his head, Bob decided to pick a hero he had never seen someone else use, Karthus. "Sorry."

...

Bob then proceeded to uninstall LoL.

Its called draft mode.

It promotes variety in games and promotes people to learn what the limitations and strengths of a wider range of champions are capable of so they suck less when unable to do their one narrow build, progression path.

Its a much needed game mode for League.

Draft Mode won't have duplicate champions. Besides, if you couldn't dupe champions in blind pick you could find out what the other team picked by trying to select everything. That's no fun.
